Hi there! bikerthomas

I’m Thomas, just a regular guy working a 9-5 job as an IT-manager in Norway. I don’t know much about motorcycles, but I do love riding them and after drooling over all the nice cruisers out there for 5 years I finally decided to buy my own in 2007. I’ve had some awesome summers riding my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic and I made this blog so that I can show my friends, family and everyone else who’s interested in motorcycles, what a good time you can have with a motorcycle, a small tent and a sleeping bag!

I’m learning something new all the time, and whenever I do I’ll post my knowledge in the knowledge base so that you too can learn from my experiences.

And whenever I’m doing a longer trip I’ll post some pictures on the trip reports page.

About The Bike

The Vulcan 900 Classic is powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 903cc V-twin mated to a 5-speed transmission. The rear wheel is driven by a belt, not a chain, for ease of maintenance.
